SCaLE is the largest community-run open-source and free software conference in North America and Media Temple has been a longtime supporter of the open-source community. The goal was to position the right product while helping the Media Temple Talent Acquisition team find fresh new talent to join the engineering and software development team.
We used a prize wheel to achieve two things: generate leads for talent and sales and showcase some of our globally recognized customers by offering up their products for prizing. There is nothing more alluring than seeing a line for something, even if you don’t know what it’s for; the clicking sound of the prize wheel drew in crowds and long lines for the multi-day event.
